Ophthalmologist & Owner
Dr. Dale is a listener first and a surgeon second. She believes the best outcomes start with good questions — understanding not just what's happening with your eyes, but how it's affecting your life. Patients who've had cataract surgery or glaucoma procedures with Dr. Dale consistently remark on her thoroughness and her gentle approach.
Dr. Dale grew up in Mukilteo, Washington, and earned her medical degree at the University of Minnesota, where she was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha, the national medical honor society. She joined the U.S. Navy during medical school and served as a general medical officer with the Marines in Okinawa, Japan. During a humanitarian deployment in Southeast Asia, she assisted Navy ophthalmologists in Indonesia — and discovered the specialty that would become her life's work.
After completing her military service, Dr. Dale trained in ophthalmology at Casey Eye Institute at Oregon Health & Science University in Portland. She founded Snoqualmie Falls Ophthalmology in 2009, merged with a local optometry practice in 2014, and became the sole owner of what is now Arbor Eyecare in 2021.
The name Arbor reflects her philosophy: a healthy practice should bear fruit in its community — through excellent care, meaningful relationships, and a team that genuinely shows up for the people it serves.
Dr. Dale lives in Snoqualmie with her husband Chris and their three kids. She's slowly working her way toward running a marathon in every state.
Dr. Dale specializes in cataract surgery, minimally invasive glaucoma surgery, laser procedures, and complex medical eye care. She accepts new patients by referral from optometrists — both within Arbor Eyecare and from outside practices — as well as from primary care physicians and other providers in the community. She also welcomes patients seeking a second opinion on an eye condition or recommended treatment.
For routine eye exams, medical eye care, glasses, and contact lenses, our optometrists are your go-to — they're primary eye care providers with the training and expertise to manage the full range of vision and medical eye care needs. Many patients see one of our ODs for years and never need surgical care — and if they do, Dr. Dale is right here on the same team, already up to speed on their history. If your optometrist identifies something that needs surgical or specialized evaluation, they'll bring Dr. Dale in seamlessly — that's the benefit of being one team.
