Why trying frames in person matters

Buying glasses online is convenient, but it skips the part that makes glasses actually work well. When you sit with one of our opticians, they:

  • Match the frame to your prescription — some frames are too narrow for progressive lenses, or too wide for a strong prescription. Your optician knows which ones will work before you order.
  • Measure precisely — your optical center, pupillary distance, and frame tilt all affect how clearly you see through your lenses. These measurements are taken on the frame you choose, on your face.
  • Fit to your face — nose pads, temple length, frame width. A great-looking pair that slides down your nose or pinches behind your ears isn’t a great pair.

Some patients do great with one versatile pair. Others prefer dedicated glasses for specific tasks — a computer pair for the office, a progressive pair for everyday, and sunglasses for the weekend. There’s no wrong answer. We’ll help you figure out what makes sense for your routine and your budget.

Common questions about glasses

Most orders are ready in 7–10 business days, depending on your prescription and lens options. We’ll give you a timeline when you order and call you as soon as they’re ready.

Yes! We accept most major vision plans, including VSP. Your plan typically covers a frame allowance and basic lenses, with upgrades (progressives, coatings, etc.) available at an additional cost. Our front desk can check your benefits before your visit.

We carry frames at a wide range of price points, so there are options for every budget. And even without employer-sponsored insurance, you’ve got ways to bring the cost down:

  • Enroll in an individual VSP plan — you can sign up on your own, even without an employer plan, starting at around $15/month. Use it toward frames and lenses.
  • CareCredit financing — flexible payment plans so cost doesn’t get in the way of getting the glasses you need.

Bring your current glasses (even if you don’t love them) and your updated prescription. If you have vision insurance, bring your card or plan details. That’s it — we handle the rest.

Absolutely. We carry a wide selection of kids’ frames built to hold up to real life. Our opticians are experienced at fitting younger patients and making the process fun (or at least painless).

Our commitment to getting it right

Your glasses are custom-made for you — your prescription, your measurements, your frame. We take that seriously, and we want you thrilled with the comfort, vision, and style of your new eyewear. Here’s how we stand behind our work:

If you wish to add or remove features from your order, please let us know before the order is placed with the lab. We will be happy to accommodate your request. However, please note that we cannot provide refunds if you decide to downgrade your lens style or remove features after production has begun.

There are some rare circumstances where we offer reframing when the product inhibits the patient’s ability to use within 30 days of dispensing — this will be at the Optician’s discretion. Any price difference between the original and exchanged product will be the customer’s responsibility. We cannot offer refunds if the replacement product is less expensive than the original product.

It is essential to ensure the accuracy of your prescription before placing an order. We rely on the prescription provided by your licensed eye care professional. If you experience a change in your prescription within 90 days of your purchase, we offer a one-time exchange for lenses with the updated prescription. The following conditions apply:

  • The new prescription must be provided by a licensed eye care professional.
  • Any price difference between the original and exchanged product will be the customer’s responsibility. We cannot offer refunds if the replacement product is less expensive than the original product.

In the rare event that you receive eyeglasses with manufacturing defects, we will gladly repair or replace them at no additional cost to you. Manufacturing defects include, but are not limited to:

  • Lens defects in manufacturing.
  • Frame defects (e.g., loose screws, missing emblems).
  • Coating defects (e.g., anti-reflective coating issues).
